Did a trip like that in 1996! I’m guessing its alot different now as the truck broke down loads, tyres replaced and bush camped quite alot. Great adventure and met my partner now of 27 years! Lol

Great summary of an overland truck trip through Africa! More than a decade ago I did Kenya to Rwanda with Intrepid and South Africa to Zimbabwe with Dragoman. Both trips were amazing and very similar to what Carla described.
Zanzibar to Cape Town, did it a few years ago, amazing experience and would recommend
