I don’t understand why climate change is so debatable and why the majority of conservatives are so cruel to people that believe in it. We as a society have constantly fucked our planet. We have decimated species at an incredible rate. Why is it so hard to believe that there are so consequences to raping the planet? I have been a lifelong conservative but this entire issue has me questioning my decisions based on the cruelty I have received from literally every conservative when I try to have a reasonable conversation about climate change. They treat it as some conspiracy theory, and I don’t get it.
